Feeling the Rain

Verse 1

Heading into town, feeling restless                                  I need a break, some conversation

gotta change mood, go find a coffee                              guess I’ll hang out, talk to some friends

Chatting to a girl, name is Lily Rose                                Snakeskin pattern swirls,  decorate her shirt.

hair of purple curls, laceless zip-up boots

Tells me of her plans, to trek some desert lands

That’s food for thought, maybe I’ll find                            a jungle retreat, nature and sky

Chorus

Walking around my old town

faces I ‘ve known for many years                                        Feeling the rain

Cooling

I’m coming alive

Like happy tears

slowly rolling down

Happy smile

Feeling the rain

cooling.

I’m coming alive feeling the rain

Thinking about

Lily Rose.

Sure. Make some plans

yerrrr

what could be

Yerrr Yerrr

Verse 2

Time to think about, our conversation                               I’m feeling the need for adventure

Brave Lily Rose trekking the Gobi

Riding her camel, into the sunset

Sail across some seas

climb some famous peaks

deep inside ravines, rescue memories

somewhere quite remote, meet some village folk

We can learn about, their world and ours

I’ll stay a while and lend a hand                                        anyway, I can, passing the time.
